The Rotary Club of Chatham meets Thursdays at noon at the Portage Restaurant except for the last Thursday of each month when it meets at 6:00 p.m. at the RCAF "Wing" on King Street, Chatham.

Fund Run

One of the club's most significant upcoming club projects is the annual Fund Run held on for August 10th, 2002. Funds raised will go towards providing Nuclear Medicine for Region Seven Hospital. Considerable emphasis has been placed on providing high calibre diagnostic equipment for our hospital which will benefit every citizen on an ongoing basis.

"Everyone has a great time at the annual Fund Run and we raise a lot of money for the community".

About mid-October, Rotarians from both the Chatham and Newcastle clubs will be embarking on the annual Rotary Radio Auction. Members of both clubs will be contacting business people in the greater Miramichi area to solicit donations for the popular event. Proceeds will benifit local worthy charities, as always. Donors will receive public acknowledgement both in print and on the air. Watch for further details im the local media.
